Kedar Nath Mitra,DOB 31.121969; from Jayanagar, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal; after schooling from Majilpur J.M. Training School, completed graduation and post-graduation from Jadavpur University, persuaded doctoral research at Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Jadavapur on coordination chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Sreebrata Goswami; joined Katwa College on 09.08.1999; teaches inorganic physical and analytical chemistry at the undergraduate level; possesses ten publications in national and international journals; authored seven books on school level chemistry; those are Akadase Rasayan, Dwadase Rasayan, Ucchamadhyamik Rasayan for class XI & XII, Samadhansutre MCQ O Ganitik Samasya for competitive examinations, Adhunik Voutabijnan O Paribesh, Madhyamik Voutabijnan O Paribesh. Administrative responsibilities: has been the Member (Teachers' Representative), Governing Body of Katwa College from 2015; Convenor, Finance Committee, from 2018.
